The weekend progressed quite nicely. For once, I had very little to do, so it was, by far, the most relaxing weekend I’ve had in a while.

Friday night involved some relaxation and hanging out with Alex. Pool, darts, and video games were all played. I went back to his place Saturday afternoon for some BBQ with a group of friends.

Saturday night involved going out with Vim and a group of his friends to Carbon, a bar around where he lives. After a martini and a gin and tonic (Tanqueray on both counts), a little late night video gaming occurred, which was entertaining since I was definitely the most sober person playing (since I had to drive, this was by necessity).

Sunday morning involved going out to breakfast, as usual. Afterwards, I did a couple things around the house and read some more. The evening entailed a dinner out with other friends and acquaintances. The title of this entry is from that dinner.

Now I sit here, typing away at my clicking laptop keyboard. Random thoughts from this weekend include societal maladies, Magallanian circumnavigation, capitalist attitude, Thanksgiving, remapping the English language, and bank account registers.

I know I will start studying for GMATs tomorrow. I think I can, I think I can, I know I can, I know I can…

Now to prepare myself for the work week that lays ahead.
