The rest of the week ended without too much excitement. Work picked up finally, so it’s been more interesting around there.

The car is in the shop right now for its scheduled maintanence. Should be getting it back this afternoon. Then it needs to be washed also, but the dealership might do that for me.

Tonight, I will be enjoying a belated birthday dinner. This necessitates a drive to Irvine and back, but such is acceptable. At the very least, it will let me have more time to listen to my CDs, which don’t get enough listening to at school (since I mostly listen to music on my computer and Zen Xtra (MP3 player) in NYC).

I decided to start reading The Palace Thief during lunch time at work, and I have started Cryptonomicon as well. As far as whether I will read Clinton’s book or Chernow’s, that decision is still in the air.

Oh, if the LA County regulators were a single person, I’d hit that person in the face. I can’t believe all the stupid crap that has to be done for the pool. Gates, 85dB alarms, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, just what I need to do, spend more money. Uh huh. Next, they’ll want me to fence off the inaceessible hill from the pool. Oh wait, they tried that one already.

I’m looking forward to reading for the afternoon, at least until my car is ready for retrieval. Hopefully, there is food in the house to consume, otherwise walking might be in order. There is a Subway within a respectable walking distance, so such would not be at all bad.

Oh, if anyone has suggestions for the Latin Quote of the Week (LQOTW), please post them in the comments section. I have plenty more, but contributions are always welcomed. As well as suggestions for additional website features and paraphernalia.
