The weekend has gone quite well. I have to say that Columbia has really spoiled me with three-day weekends. Tomorrow being Monday is entirely unacceptable, but since I don’t have the power to do much about it, I’ll have to deal with it.

Saturday went well. Many pictures of downtown Los Angeles were taken, so those will have to be posted. Of course, I need to find time to get them on the website along with the 4th of July pictures. In any event, the trip around downtown didn’t take as long as expected. I, Robot was a decent action movie, but certainly nothing spectacular. In my opinion, it was a combination of The Second Renaissance (one of the shorts from the Animatrix detailing the events that led up to the first film), Terminator, and a little bit of Total Recall. Certainly not original, but fun to watch.

Today has not gone as expected. No breakfast and no lunch with Adam. So, I spent the morning and early afternoon outside at Starbucks reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven cover to cover. It was added to the reading list last week at Jess’ suggestion. It’s a very good book, one that I am glad I read despite typically not reading texts of such genre. After my three hour stay, I came back home and dealt with some odd jobs around the house that needed completion.

Tonight will involve eating dinner, a couple more tasks around the house, and hopefully a little relaxation before bed. Then the week shall start anew.
