The week has been interesting so far. Quite the rollercoster so far, though this post will surely not completely capture why it was such.
My day off on Monday went quite well. I got done what needed to be done, and I had plenty of time for additional relaxation and recuperation from the rigors of work. While not the most eventful day, certainly a good one nonetheless.
I started running on Sunday (finally) and have continued to do so on Monday and today after getting back from work. I can already feel my body starting to readjust back to its running condition, which is very good and unexpected after only three days of doing it. If I keep this up, I’ll certainly be in shape by the time school rolls around. Then I have to continue the habit during school, which shouldn’t be as hard as previous semesters because of my schedule.
Work hasn’t improved much. The one thing that I can look forward to are some of the awesome people that work there. So they make the day go by faster and more enjoyably than it would otherwise. Note to self: after I cease needing to wake up at 645 daily, bring the caffeine habit down a couple notches. It’s not that my caffeine consumption is more aggregious on a day-by-day basis, but the consistency of the consumption that should be moderated. Right now, I’m at Starbucks every morning before work. But at least coffee is awesome, as opposed to other stimulants. (Such rational and logical justification.)
GMAT studying has been going well. I am gaining confidence as I go through the material for the different sections. With diligence and hard work, I know I can excel at this test. I can only hope to have a toll-free GMAT on that fateful Saturday. At least there is no drama in having to wait for the scores in the mail or by phone. You take the test; the computer spits back a score. Instant gratification! What can be better?
That’s about it right now. Not too much excitement, I suppose. But I never promised excitement.
