Much of the week has lacked significant amounts of excitement. I’ve been doing tasks around the house, and those are only going to increase in number as the summer days wane. Wolf left for school on Wednesday, so I had the chance to hang out with him once more before he left. In addition, I’ve been seeing other friends more frequently, now that the lack of work has freed up some time.
Adding to the excitement, I retrieved Sharon from the hotel at which she is staying on Thursday night. On Friday, we went over to Hollywood for most of the day and spent the evening down in Santa Monica at 3rd Street Promenade and the Pier. I drove her to the La Brea Tar Pits this morning to reunite her with her family. All in all, a good time was had by both of us.
Oh, I had my heavy tin of near-worthless coins converted into spendable currency. It was just about a year’s worth of change and it came out to approximately $157. Yay, no ATM trip!
Aside from a couple of minor things, I hope to have a mostly relaxing weekend, even though it would behoove me to get a head start on some of the things I need to get done. Maybe I’ll be responsible, but probably not. In any event, the upcoming week will make up for any laziness that occurs during the remainder of the weekend.
