So my birthday was yesterday. I had the joy of going to classes and doing much work all day long. Sharon got me the Ultimate Matrix Collection, which I was quite pleased with. That skyrockets my Matrix DVD count to thirteen now. (I refuse to make the obvious horrible joke here.)

Sharon also decided to point out that I’m old now since I’m 22. Upon some thought, 22 does seem old. I hadn’t thought about it before, but for some weird reason, it seems like I’m significant older now. I wonder what’s different between 21 and 22 that the latter seems much older than the former.

For our semester-long Finance & Accounting project, we decided to do the casino and gaming industry. Specifically, we did our analysis on Caesars Entertainment, which was entertaining. However, this “project” was mostly spent copying and pasting data into Excel. Insulting is an understatement. However, it’s done and that’s what’s important. Whilst working on the project, I decided that drinking a 1.5 liter champagne bottle of Heineken was an excellent idea. Times I enjoy having a high tolerance.

I actually decided to use the music detection feature of Semagic for the first time. Interesting.

Either this weekend or next week I’m going to start packing up books and other various non-critical items and ship them home so I’m not doing all of my moving at one time. On a related note, I’m going to be getting rid of a lot of stuff I no longer need, so if people want various/random items, let me know.

<rant>So many books I want to read, so little time to read all of them. Stupid school getting in the way of reading. Gah.</rant>
