All of my business school apps are finally finished!! I finished up and electronically sent off my UCLA app yesterday. Except for the possible loose transcript or recommendation, all I can do now is wait for responses (whilst crossing my fingers profusely). However, this doesn’t assist much in lowering my workload for the rest of the semester.
In other news, I got screwed out of warranty service on my laptop. Now it’s going to cost me $450+ to get it serviced (repair the retention mechanism on the RJ45 jack and replace the battery). It really isn’t work spending 25% of the nominal cost of the laptop on fixing it three years later. Oh well, it still operates pretty well besides, and with fewer cross-country treks between NY and LA, it shouldn’t be too big of a deal. Still upsetting though, nonetheless.
Back to work-like activities. Oh how those never stop.
